The Edgerton Explorit Center's Distance Learning is transforming video conferencing into a hands-on learning experience!
The following programs are now available:
Seeing Through the Eyes of Discovery
-- An interactive program that includes the secrets of the strobe, capturing a moment of inspiration, high speed photography, the history of 'Doc' Edgerton and more.
-- Coming soon an interactive feature that allows you to control our strobes and piddlers right from your computer
Super Cold Chemistry
-- Have an 'Artic Blast' learning the properties of dry ice and liquid nitrogen during this 45 minutes demonstration that proves science is cool! Learn about states of matter and see what happens when gasses expand, cookies freeze and rockets go flying!
The Go Show
-- This 30 minute science demonstration explores all types of motion and the forces that make them go and those that make them stop! Fasten your seatbelts because this ride will take you places.
NASA Education Programs
-- Visit the EEC to video conference with NASA and its great science programs
-- Use the EEC to connect your JPEG system with NASA's IP system
Distance learning program costs range from $75.00 to $110.00 depending on the program and if you are a Nebraska school.
